Here's what you can do to take action!

  1. Attend HOMES meetings.
HOMES is now holding our regular meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, check our home page for our new meeting locations. In the fall of 2011 we also had meetings in Elizabeth, Hanover, and Galena. We hope to continue to bring our meetings to different locations around NW Illinois. Check back often!
  2. Come to our events.
HOMES will continue to host informative events. Please check our home page regularly for upcoming events.
  3. Write to your government. Tell them why you care about Jo Daviess County!
Write to IL Attorney General Lisa Madigan. Encourage her to defend their case against the megadairy in front of the Illinois Pollution Control Board. Let her know that citizens are still watching this case.

Write to Governor Pat Quinn thanking him for his continued support of clean water and family farmers and asking him to continue to protect Illinois from corporate interests.

  4. Talk to friends.
Advocates of the megadairy have spewed misinformation for four years. Please print out information from this site or contact us so we can mail you documents to better explain the situation to friends and relatives. Despite sporadic newspaper stories, much of this information has never been presented to the public. We need your help to spread the truth.
  5. Donate Money.
Corporate interests are supporting Bos’s legal team. Our battle is supported by you. You can mail a check to HOMES, PO Box 674, Warren, IL 61087 or donate using a credit card or Paypal. Just click on the Paypal button at the top of this page.
